Maggie is Staines Melody's first foal, foaled on 16/03/04. She is grey
(born Chestnut) with 4 white socks and the trademark Pickle blaze. A
very special filly from the start being sired by my first ever Welsh
Mountain Pony and out of the first Section A filly I ever bought, she
has been 6 years in the planning and combines our two Twyford
'M' lines.
She was worth the long wait, tall, elegant, with lovely expressive eyes
and from the moment she made her arrival in the world, a 'people pony'
bold, friendly and very cheeky. She is the leader of the pack and very independent, a real show off. Full of quality and yet retaining the pony
character, but somewhat unphotogenic (or is that the Photographer?).
'Maggie'
was only shown three times in 2005 due to other commitments but she was
placed in the top six every time out including 3rd places at both South
of England Spring show and South of England show.
