After a short break from breeding Marsh Coral gave birth on 06/03/03 to a
fantastic and much wished for colt foal. Chutney
is by our Pendock Legend grandson, Norash Beauson making him line bred to
Revel Jeeves and is already showing the looks and attitude of a superstar.
Chutney's show career got off to a flying start when on his show ring debut
taking the Supreme Foal Championship at East Anglian Native Pony Society Show.
This was an extra special achievement as his Grand sire Knodishall Beaufort won
this Championship in 1991.
Chutney has continued to more than lived up to the expectations we had for him
when this page was started the day he was born. Home produced and lightly shown
he has been consistently placed in the show ring in good company. From just 9 shows
to date:

More than that his is a true gentleman and an absolute delight to live with. In
looks there is no doubt at all he is from the Marsh Coral line, he is so much
like his successful 'Southwaite' half sisters, very correct with a long elegant
front, but in temperament he is his Sire through and through.
Update
September 2005 - Chutney has been sold and gelded. Although I would
have loved to keep him on, I couldn't turn down the offer of such a
wonderful home with such wonderful people, where he will be spoilt rotten and be
given an interesting and active life. I wish his new owners all
the best and look forward to following his progress in-hand and under
saddle.
