Coral was purchased at the 2001 Fayre Oaks Sale. Bred by the late Beryl Reynolds, Coral is by the legendary Revel Jeeves, also sire of the outsanding stallions Penual Mark and the now deceased Pendock Legend.

Although successfully shown herself Coral is better known as a very successful broodmare, being the dam of Supreme Champion and medal winning fillies including South of England Champion Southwaite Carrie '96, Southwaite Cover Girl '97, Southwaite Caprice '98 and a Supreme Foal Champion and Youngstock Champion colt Amilas Chutney '04. Southwaite Cover Girl successfully entered the ridden ranks in 2003 qualifying for the Kingsford final at the Ponies UK Summer Championships and the Picton and Junior ridden Finals at the National Pony Society Summer Championships.

Coral is a very special mare, the herd matriarch and not the most social mare with strangers she does however form a very strong one to one relationship with 'her' human and repays you many times over with her loyalty. She is at her happiest at home with her herd and is one of the ponies you never own, she chooses to allow you to share in her life.  She is worth her weight in gold and I am honoured to have the opportunity of sharing her life.
